On the one hand, it is faithful to God’s word to say that there are certain sins that are ‘unnatural’ (Romans 1:26).
Now, there is an unhelpful way that some Christians speak when they say that certain sins, especially sexual sins are ‘unnatural’, because the primary reason why those sins are wrong is because God says they are wrong, not because we think it’s wrong.
In fact, for many who are involved in theses sins, or who are in a culture filled with theses sins, they do not feel they are unnatural, which is the whole reason why they’re committing theses sins, or why they promote these sins…
But whilst we must acknowledge that there are sins that God’s word says are unnatural, we must also remember, they are not unnatural because they feel or seem to us to be unnatural, they are unnatural because God says in his word they are unnatural. That’s important.
Always defer to God’s judgement, not your own reasoning.
