The good news is that you don’t have to go to hell. Repeat: you don’t have to go to hell. You don’t have to. You could be rescued from that. You could be saved from it. You could know release from the burden that you’re under, the strain you feel, that depression that pervades you, the pain that pollutes every waking hour, it can be gone, and you can know God. You can know the one who made you. And you can come to know Jesus, the most wonderful name. You can have him as your friend, your best friend, and you can be opened up to a whole spiritual world that he created, as well as seeing the visible world with totally new eyes. It’s such a joy to be a Christian, to see the fact that that amazing event at the centre of history, Jesus dying on the cross, is where everything changes, and to actually know that event directly affecting you. Trusting in Jesus, repenting of your sins, is such a liberating thing to do, because we’re so sinful, we’re so bad, we’re so lost, we’re so broken, and yet we can walk with a spring in our steps because Jesus is alive, he rose from the dead; glory to his name. We have such good news!
