Paul says nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving (1 Timothy 4:4).
Do take in the mechanics of that idea…
Here we have God. He’s made the whole world, and even after the fall, Paul is still able to say that everything God created is good, which means that nothing is to be rejected.
Yet, remember the qualification. The qualification is that nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, and that is where we should focus our thoughts. Paul is saying, “Look at all this good stuff that God made. If you receive it with thanksgiving, then you don’t need to reject it.”
The world will say, “Reject stuff. Stuff is bad.” But God says “No. Say thank you for it. I gave it to you. Don’t reject it. Receive it with thanksgiving.”
