Tell Me About It
Church, are you in the habit of sharing your testimony? We have opportunities sometimes to give our testimony in public. Perhaps if you’ve been baptised, you’ve done that. But that’s not the only context in which we can give a testimony in a public forum. We can give testimony every time we speak to each other. Try and be in the habit of telling people how you were saved, how you first heard about the Lord Jesus Christ, and how you first came to trust in him. But don’t just talk about your past, talk about your present, how have you been enabled to trust in Christ this week? It will be such an encouragement for to us to hear that, and it will give us cause to give thanks to God for you, which is what Paul does for the Christians in Rome (Romans 1:8).
May the Lord help us as we do that!
