Those who are not ready for Christ’s return are not those who are taking on major projects but actually all those who are idle or lazy or spending their time on worthless things. In fact, a good question to ask yourself before you engage in something is, ‘do I want the Lord Jesus to return while I’m doing this?’ If you’d be embarrassed or ashamed for the Lord Jesus to return while you were doing this thing—either watching this film, going into this place, or doing whatever thing—then if the thought is “I don’t want to be found doing this when the Lord returns,” then don’t do it.
