In Peter’s vision of Acts 10, a massive picnic blanket being set out, but what’s significant for this vision is the fact that it’s being let down to earth by its four corners. Whenever we see the number four in visions in the Bible, we’re usually being pointed to something worldwide (see Genesis 1:14-19, Genesis 2:10-14, Daniel 7, Ezekiel 1:5-10, Ezekiel 7:2, Isaiah 11:12, 1 Corinthians 15:39, Revelation 7:1). And we still talk about the four corners of the earth—north, south, east, and west.
