Mary had it right.
And that’s why we’re still talking about her today. There is a prophecy found in Mark 14:9, ‘I tell you the truth, wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.”’ And it’s being fulfilled in your hearing today.
If any of you doubt that the Bible is true, this is one proof you can look to, to show you that the Bible is true. Every time this text is preached on we see that the Bible is extraordinarily accurate and prophetic.
There are other things that happened thousands of years ago that people said, “They’ll still be talking about this centuries from now!” But we’re not actually talking about those things. But this is different. It concerns Jesus Christ, and his legacy is infinite! Jesus said we’d still be talking about this, and we still are.
