Have you confessed your sins before the Lord Jesus, the judge? Have you seen that as you stand, you deserve nothing but eternal hell? And have you seen, that the Lord Jesus invites us to take the planks out of our own eyes? He invites us to repent of our sins and to trust in him in all his beauty. And then, as we trust in the Lord Jesus and repent of our sins, we will be able to see promises from God’s Word come to fruition in our lives. We will see clearly; that’s a promise from verse five. If you repent of your sins and trust in the Lord Jesus, you will see clearly. Oh, to see clearly! It’s what the Buddhists long for; they long for enlightenment. And the only way to true enlightenment is through the Lord Jesus. Oh, to see clearly! Oh, to see Jesus.
