See that you have broken God’s law and deserve condemnation. But also see that Christ Jesus was willing to take your condemnation upon himself. You don’t have to suffer the condemnation yourself because Christ died on the cross. May you repent of your sins and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. He has never turned anyone away who has come to him. This is a promise from John 6:37: “Whoever comes to me, I will never drive away.”
Why would we not come if he has invited us? “Come to me,” the Lord Jesus says, “all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28).
Let us all return to Christ once again today, even if we have done so a million times before. Come to him again. Know the rest that he promises and experience the reality of being in the realm of the Spirit, with the Spirit of God living in you, belonging to Christ.
Yes, our bodies are subject to death because of sin, but we also have life because of the righteousness of Christ, which we did not fulfil but he did, thus, it is credited to us. We are treated as his righteousness deserves.
Therefore, we have the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead living in us, and a future to look forward to—our mortal bodies being given life one day very soon. And remember, while we wait for that day, we have the same Spirit living in us.
Hallelujah!
