Have you taken in what the writer to the Hebrews was saying? Jesus is the one who spoke last, and he is the one who has the last word. Jesus’s work is finished; there’s no more to do. (Hebrews 1:2)
So, there’s no one else required to do it. Every new religion or cult, both ancient and new religions, say the same thing: “there’s someone after Jesus who we all need to follow, whether it’s Mohammed or Joseph Smith. I.e. we need more than Jesus. The Bible is not enough; Jesus is not enough.” That’s what they’re saying.
But the Bible is finished, and Jesus is enough, as he himself said on the cross: “It is finished.” What more do you want? All we need to know about salvation and good works is done.
So, come to a Bible-believing church, and trust in the Jesus preached from the Bible; he is enough, and so is his word!
