Christian, Jesus Won’t Let You Go

If you are part of God’s church, then Jesus promises that no one can snatch you from his hand: ‘My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.’ (John 10:29).

‘If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved’ (Romans 10:9). ‘There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.’ (Romans 8:1).

‘Everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him will have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.’ (John 6:40).

If you receive him, if you believe in his name, you are given the right to become a child of God (John 1:12). Nothing can separate you from Christ’s love (Romans 8:38-39).

The Lord will never leave you nor forsake you. So that you can confidently say, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?’ (Hebrews 13:6).
